of the possible under highly ambiguous situations.
- Communication Skills: Our industry is people centric and we are in the business of asking good questions. We interact with clients on a daily basis and
people want to be heard. Hearing the diverse opinions of our clients also helps us build a deeper understanding of the challenges and prepare a better recommendation.
Communication skills are also critical to our internal leadership as great leaders know how to communicate the context and goals to their teams rather than trying to
micromanage all the details. At the analyst level, escalating risks, opportunities and other critical information is essential.
- Adaptability: We seek out individuals who are eager to learn new disciplines quickly and contribute outside of their specialty to build a broad knowledge base.
- Collaboration: Delivering complex projects requires a lot of collaboration. We don’t believe in a divide between client teams and our teams. Neither do we
believe in a tall hierarchy between leadership and consulting teams. We also don’t grade individuals against one another as many other firms do. We all succeed or fail
together. We need team players who want to work together to build a better firm. We don't want to import bad habits learned from other ones.
Bottom line: We need smart, talanted individuals who are looking to work togther and make an impact. Individuals with big egos or loaners don't do well.
